2 days left

I only have two days left before I head to Haiti. Today, tomorrow, and then I get in a van and head down to Edmonton, the day after that I hop on a plane and by midday tuesday I'll be stepping onto Haitian soil. All of my training is done, there are only one or two things more that I'd like to grab but could easily do without, and for the rest of this weekend I'm fending for myself as far as food goes. And my sister and brother-in-law moved out this morning so I can't go visit them or eat with them. Don't worry though, I've got KD and a few other people who have given me invitations to come over, so many people that I won't be able to visit them all.

probably before I know it I'll be back in Canada again and trying to find a way to get just west of stony plain. :) but maybe not right away cause I get back at midnight.

Almost there

Year 2 of college is over, and now I have a week of training. In exactly one week from now I'll be on a plane to chicago. This last weekend I got to spend some time with my family that came up for my sisters grad. Also my old roomie moved out. a new one moved in, and I had to say goodbye to Miss M for a month. today I went shopping and bought a couple pairs of shorts and pants that aren't jeans, though the pair I'm wearing now are really warm and I don't think I'll bring them to Haiti. I'm getting quite exited for the trip down and the time at Haiti, but i also can't wait to get back here where temperature's are reasonable and I can visit people I know and love. At least I've got spf 70 sunblock, with that stuff I won't tan for the next few years.
